A global market leader in Cloud Communications is looking for several Software Engineers (m/f/d) – Junior and Senior - to join their growing team in beautiful Barcelona.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering you will help the company develop and improve their Cloud Platform as a Service and further develop the Backend tools for Media testing.
Your tasks will include:
•Software development and implementation of new features and strategies to improve capabilities and fault tolerance of the platform;
•Contribute to server and software architectures for real-time media streaming, quality optimization strategies, audio/video archiving, real-time broadcast, related systems engineering and so on;
•Develop software and components to control media features operation and to monitor and evaluate quality and performance in the platform;
•Working on multiple projects cooperating within a global team.

What you should bring:
•Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent;
•4+ years (or more) of experience working on backend software engineering;
•Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, memory management, and concurrency;
•Media communications technology background, real-time audio/video streaming, media transport protocols, or/and video on demand;
•Passion for Network Technologies, Audio/Video Communication and Backend Software Engineering;
•JS for backend (node.js) and/or python and willing to quickly learn the other;
•C/C++ coding skills;
•Additional JavaScript and/or Python coding skills is a plus;
•A quality focused work attitude;
•Business fluency in English.
